Grimes Creek @ Boise, ID Part Two

Seeing the projections on trees like this is awesome. It just blows me away how they will go on pretty much anything. I think there are probably quite a few ideas to come up with that would look better on a rough, multidimensional surface like those trees. The dunes were great, too. Seeing the travel documentation makes me want to go on an adventure!

Ali and gang, I've checked out the video link for the MAW X-Country Winnemucca Dunes in Nevada and the MAW X-Country visit to Grimes Creek in Boise. I'm blown away by the abstract nature of the light show and the synthesis of the natural environment and artificial (man-made) interventions. Besides that, it looks like fun as well. Hope you're enjoying yourselves and meeting all sorts of interesting people. I would like to include a short piece in this years' Department of Art Alumni Art-e-Fact which we're working on now.
